Blanket [c/o] Bersuse
All of this cold weather has really made the hibernating bear inside of me come out and I want to wear nothing but cozy clothes all day long. Staying in my pajamas all day though just makes me feel a bit like a slob-kabob and to be honest, makes me a lot less productive than I need to be. So what’s the solution? Cozy loungewear that can be worn out in public but also feels like pajamas, just a little more put together. When I am either having a work day at home or running errands, I’ll throw on some loungewear with a pair of sneakers, toss my hair in a cute topknot, and apply just a little bit of makeup. This gives me that little bit of umph to get my booty in gear and go, and also makes me feel more like a human!
Both this pair of joggers and pullover are so soft you won’t want to take them off. Stars are still a trend you are seeing all around, so I loved that the stars on this pullover made it a little bit extra. When I am at home, I like to wear my Minnetonka slip on house shoes to keep my feet warm and they also have a hard sole so they are perfect for taking your pup out for a potty break.
Now that we have covered our cozy attire, let’s talk about one of my favorite things to do snuggled up on the couch…….READ! If you didn’t catch my New Years resolutions post (read it here), one of my goals for 2018 is to read one new book a month for the rest of the year. I picked up reading again a few months ago and have found that I really enjoy that relaxing time to put down the phone, turn off the TV, and just read. The last book I read was The Woman in Cabin 10 and it was such a good thriller! The next book on my agenda is The Good Girl and I will let y’all know how it is. Reading is a great way to sharpen up your reading, vocab, and grammar skills all while taking a little time just to relax and get away from our busy lives. I’ve included a few other books that I have on my “To Read” list and have heard great things about. If you have any favorites please share because I’m going to need some suggestions for the next 11 months!
